I’ve enjoyed blogging at Boomient, on the regular “BoomBlog”, but the focus of that blog was, and continues to be, social media, web marketing, and SEO. I’ve been writing that blog to reach generally non-techie business folks who need some advice on marketing on the web, and I’ve tried to stay clear of too-technical advice.
But I’ve discovered along the way that many of my clients don’t mind digging into tech details, and since so many folks I work with are managing a WordPress site, I have developed a wealth of tips, tutorials, and workarounds that can help people wrangle with their WP issues.
So I’m starting THIS blog as a way of offering extra WordPress-specific (and sometimes just web-tech-specific) help to people who don’t mind wrapping their brains around the occasional php code or HTML tags. This will give me a place to put all the many notes I’ve taken over the years that can offer how-to-do-it on a variety of WordPress installation challenges, hosting questions, and the like.
As with any blog, feedback is always appreciated! I look forward to hearing from you.
